Bank of Marin promoted Nancy Jones to first vice president and manager for the client services department in the bank’s Novato headquarters. Ms. Jones has been with Bank of Marin for 11 years and is responsible for managing its cash management and branch support departments. The bank also appointed Willa Speck assistant branch manager for the Andersen Drive branch in San Rafael. Prior to joining Bank of Marin, Ms. Speck worked for WestAmerica for 20 years in San Rafael as a branch service officer.
Alicia Cerruti, CPA, was promoted to supervisor at Pisenti & Brinker LLP in its Petaluma office. Ms.Cerruti works in the firm’s tax and assurance services departments with clients in the manufacturing, construction, governmental and not-for-profit industries.Business Organizations
The Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce named Nicole Arnone, a marketing consultant for Maverick Media, Ambassador of the Year for the second year in a row for helping recruit 13 new members to the chamber.
The Russell E. Pettit Memorial Award from the Western Association of Chamber Executives for 2009 was posthumously awarded to Mike Hauser, former president of the Santa Rosa Chamber. He was honored for his mentoring of chamber executives throughout the nation and for his leadership with the American Chamber of Commerce Executives.Construction
Diane Szczepanski, creative director of New World Tile Design, joined the design team at North Coast Design Showroom, part of North Coast Tile & Stone in Santa Rosa. Ms. Szczepanski has 30 years of experience in tile design, installation and mosaic making for kitchen and bath and outdoor projects. Also joining the company are Matt Eaton, with 10 years of experience in granite installation, and Mark Brown, with 25 years tile experience.Hospitality
The Marin County Convention and Visitors Bureau appointed Richard Klussman to its board of directors. Dr. Klussman, a business development consultant for Izzy's Restaurant in Corte Madera, will serve a two-year term as restaurant representative to the board.Publishing
Dan Verel joined the reporting staff of the North Bay Business Journal, covering health care, insurance, senior living, hospitality and tourism, law and nonprofits. He is a recent graduate of San Francisco State University with a degree in journalism and has worked as a correspondent for the Oakland Tribune and a radio news and web intern at KQED Public Radio.
Jennifer Higgins, former winemaker at Lancaster Estate, joined Healdsburg-based Lambert Bridge Winery as associate winemaker. Ms. Higgins will work under winemaker Jill Davis.
