Kristi Wagner, a project manager for Delta Consulting and Engineering of St. Helena, was registered by the state of California as a professional engineer in civil engineering.

William Olmo III of Fedco Construction Inc. in Santa Rosa was awarded the John H. Hampshire Award by the American Subcontractors Association. Mr. Olmo is a 20-year industry veteran and past president of ASA.



John Lloyd, co-proprietor of Big John’s Market in Healdsburg, and Emily McGrath, a parent with a career in public relations and lobbying for public schools, were elected to the Healdsburg Education Foundation’s Board of Directors. The Healdsburg Education Foundation raises funds to preserve and enhance educational opportunities for all students attending Healdsburg area public schools.


Chris Robine joined Novato-based SPG Solar as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Most recently Mr. Robine was the chief financial officer for GE Renewable Energy.

Larkspur-based Hospice by the Bay hired Wendy Ranzau as site manager overseeing the Sonoma County office. Prior to joining Hospice by the Bay, Ms. Ranzau was service director for home health and hospice programs at Kaiser Permanente.

John Williams, managing director for the Novato office of Sperry Van Ness International, was named to the Sperry Van Ness Asset Recovery Team, approximately 100 Sperry Van Ness advisers throughout the United States specializing in troubled assets for government agencies, lenders and financial institutions.

Gregory Nordin was hired by Sonoma/Napa-based California Wine Tours and Evans Transportation as director of operations for both companies. Mr. Nordin is a 30-year Golden Gate Transit veteran and former mayor of Rohnert Park.

Healdsburg-based Ascentia Wine Estates hired Nick Goldschmidt as consulting winemaker for Atlas Peak winery in Napa. Mr. Goldschmidt, a specialist in high-elevation vines, was executive vice president and winemaker at both Allied Domecq Wines USA and Beam Wine Estates.

Fort Ross Vineyard on the Sonoma Coast appointed Jeff Pisoni its new winemaker. Mr. Pisoni is known for the wines he produces for his family’s Pisoni Vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands.
