Carie Hays-Fletcher was promoted to bank officer of Exchange Bank in Santa Rosa. Ms. Hays-Fletcher was previously assistant manager of the loan service center. Appointed manager of the bank’s Stony Point branch was Barbara Singer, who most recently held the position of branch manager at the Washington Square branch in Petaluma.



Greg Knight joined San Anselmo-based  Equity Solar Inc., a company specifically established to commercialize a leading-edge solar photovoltaic technology, as its chief technology officer. Mr. Knight, formerly of GT Solar, was brought on specifically to assist in the commercialization of the room-temperature wet chemical growth technology licensed by Equity Solar.

Sonoma County professionals who recently earned Sustainable Enterprise Executive Certificates through Dominican University’s Green your MBA   Executive Certificate Program are Soni Lampert, CEO at KLH Consulting; Stacy Magill, CFO of Ghilotti Construction Co.; Tanya Narath, executive director of the Leadership Institute for Ecology and the Economy; and David Bacigalupi, marketing director at Armstrong Associates.

Richard Pitzen, M.D., a family practice doctor in Sebastopol, won a Kaiser Award for Excellence in Teaching by Volunteer Clinical Faculty from The Haile T. Debas Academy of Medical Educators at the University of California, San Francisco. The honor recognized Dr. Pitzen’s outstanding teaching qualities.

Steve Schneider, CEO for Santa Rosa-based electric vehicle maker ZAP, was named vice chairman of Samyang Optics Co. Ltd. in China to support its entry into the electric vehicle market.

The California State Legislature awarded Larkspur-based Hospice by the Bay’s Director of Clinical Services Laura Koehler a Certificate of Recognition for her more than 18 years of service to thousands of Marin County families.

Petaluma-based Raydiance, maker of ultra-fast commercial laser technology, promoted vice president of engineering Dr. Mike Mielke to chief scientist. To fill Dr. Mielke’s position, Raydiance hired Tim Flood as vice president of engineering. Before joining Raydiance, Mr. Flood was vice president of engineering and operations with Red Condor.
