Chem-Dry of Healdsburg is now available to service Sonoma County. The owner of Chem-Dry of Lake County and Chem-Dry of Mendocino County acquired the franchise in February. Chem-Dry offers carpet and upholstery cleaning using a green-certified solution.

The Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery is accepting applications for its 2010 Waste Reduction Awards Program through June 15.
