Sonoma Bank hired Ernest Rodriguez as manager of its Windsor branch. Mr. Rodriguez was previously a team leader in the credit industry and also held retail positions at Wells Fargo Bank and Bank of the West.

Stantec recently promoted Steve Skanderson to associate in its Petaluma office. A member of the Stantec team since 1989, Mr. Skanderson oversees a team of professionals that file and track hazardous materials and waste management, equipment audits and permit audits for more than 6,000 facilities in the United States.


Susan Jones, currently Healdsburg’s police chief, was named interim police chief of the city of Cotati. Ms. Jones will assist with the recruitment for and transition to a new permanent chief.

Benjamin Johnson of the Woodmont Companies and former CEO Howard Friedman were named directors emeritus.

Dave Peterson was named partner by Keegan & Coppin Company Inc./Oncor International.  Mr. Peterson joined Keegan & Coppin in 2003.  He focuses on office and industrial leasing and sales, as well as investments.


Grgich Hills Estate in Rutherford  hired Paul Schmitz as its California sales manager. Mr. Schmitz has more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience, most recently as national sales and marketing director for Saddleback Cellars.

Ladera Vineyards in the Napa Valley hired Gordon Waggoner as the winery’s new direct-to-consumer and hospitality manager. Mr. Waggoner, who worked for wine distributor Regal Wine Co. in the Los Angeles and Napa Valley markets, has passed the introduction CMS exam and is currently preparing to take the CMS Certified exam this fall.
