DAVIS – The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service announced $10 million in additional funding for farmers and ranchers seeking to improve air quality emissions related to older equipment. This funding adds to more than $13 million available earlier this year through the 2008 Farm Bill's Environmental Quality Incentives Program. It offers agricultural producers incentives for retiring inefficient engines. Marin, Napa, Solano and Sonoma counties are among 36 counties eligible for the funds.
