Banking & Finance

Matthew Delaney is a new partner at JDH Wealth Management in Santa Rosa. Mr. Delaney joined JDH in 2005 as a wealth manager and life insurance agent. Prior to joining JDH, he worked for three years as a financial consultant with Smith Barney in Rancho Santa Fe. 

Mengali Accountancy in Healdsburg hired Trevor Gilmore as a real estate accountant. Mr. Gilmore is currently a CPA candidate and holds a B.A. in economics as well as an advanced accounting certification.

Business & Community Organizations

North Bay Leadership Council named five honorees for its annual Leaders of the North Bay Awards: Brett Martinez, CEO of Redwood Credit Union for the category Caught in the Act of Leadership: Individual Excellence in Leadership; Katie Crecelius, chair of Novato Housing Coalition for We're All in this Together: Community Building; Agilent Technologies for Paint the Community Green: Environmental Stewardship; Sonoma County Energy Independence Program for The "Light Bulb" Went on: Innovative/Entrepreneurial Spirit; and Wanda Tapia-Thomsen of Latino Service Providers for Empowering the Latino Community: Leadership within the Latino Community.

Diane Henderson, owner of DMG Land Use Planning, was installed as president of the Rotary Club of San Rafael. Don Violin is president-elect; Maynard Willms, vice president; Jeffrey Ehlenbach, secretary; Judy Denning, treasurer. The board of directors also includes Beth Fernbacher, Michael Dybeck, Ed Berberian, Holt Cole and Margaret Deedy.

Jen James is the new communications coordinator for the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce.   Ms. James will be responsible for coordinating all chamber communications including design and production of weekly e-newsletters, update and maintenance of chamber websites, social media programs and creation of graphics  to various chamber events. 

Construction

Schuyler Bartholomay of Quattrochi Kwok Arcthitects in Santa Rosa is now a LEED accredited professional.

Education

Laura McCarty, a 20-year veteran of construction project management, will lead the College of Marin’s $249.5 million Measure C Bond Modernization program. Ms. McCarty was most recently a consultant to the management team for the San Francisco Unified School District’s $450 million bond.

Green

Mike Sandler, co-founder of the Climate Protection Campaign, was named program manager for the Sonoma County Regional Climate Protection Authority. Mr. Sandler developed the SEE Green Program for sustainable businesses, coordinated programs for Local Governments for Sustainability, was program coordinator for Community Clean Water Institute of Sebastopol and served on the city of Sebastopol Planning Commission.    

Insurance

Chet Laws joined Magnolia LTC Management Services Inc. in Santa Rosa as business development manager. Mr. Laws has been on the brokerage consulting side of the insurance industry for the past 13 years in the property and casualty and employee benefits arenas.

Wine

Sebastopol-based Dutton-Goldfield Winery named John Schulz as national sales director and Garry Brooks as assistant winemaker. Mr. Schulz was most recently director of sales and marketing at Jarvis Winery in Napa. Mr. Brooks has been the enologist at Kosta Browne Wines since 2008. 

San Francisco-based Vinfolio appointed Gary Rose vice president of operations.  Mr. Rose will develop and structure warehouse operations and customer service programs to serve Vinfolio's wine buying and collector community. Vinfolio has warehouse facilities in American Canyon.
