SAN RAFAEL -- Greg Moss, managing partner of Cassidy Turley BT Commercial's three North Bay offices, also will oversee the commercial real estate brokerage's San Francisco office, it was announced today.

Michael Kamm, chief executive officer, said Mr. Moss has worked extensively with leasing, tenant representation, acquisitions, dispositions and property management in institutional portfolios.

"For the past nine years, Greg has built and led a market-leading capability for our firm in Marin and Sonoma counties, but his roots are in the San Francisco office market," Mr. Kamm said.

Mr. Moss' two-decade commercial real estate career started as an office leasing agent for CB Commercial Real Estate in San Francisco from 1989 to 1995. He then handled a 12 million-square-foot Northwest office and industrial property portfolio as senior vice president and regional manager with Compass Management and Leasing in San Francisco. Compass was acquired in 1998 by what is now Jones Lang LaSalle, and Mr. Moss was a senior officer.

Cassidy Turley BT Commercial is the second-largest commercial real estate brokerage in the North Bay, with more than two dozen agents and offices in San Rafael, Santa Rosa and Napa. Last year the brokerage closed $171 million in North Bay leases totaling 1.8 million square feet and $48 million in 26 sales in the subregion, according to the Business Journal Lists Online.

Throughout the greater Bay Area and Sacramento, the brokerage has more than 400 agents in 16 offices. In March, BT Commercial joined Cassidy Turley, forming one of the largest privately held brokerages.

The former managing partner in San Francisco, Ric Russell, is focusing on his other role as managing partner of the multifamily, hospitality and net-leased groups in the firm's Investment Division. He also is now leader of the Private Client Group in the firm's Capital Markets Group.
