SANTA ROSA -- Santa Rosa Memorial Hospial is planning to put $15 million into an expanded emergency treatment facility, Memorial President and CEO Kevin Klockenga announced today at the North Bay Business Journal Health Conference. The hospital also hopes to build an Access & Workforce Wellness and Medical Fitmess Center, he said.
Construction will begin in 2012 at the Regional Level II Trauma Center for the North Coast. Emergency department bays will be increased from 19 to 26 with an expanded waiting area. The project is expected to be completed in 2014.
An 80,000-square-foot wellness center is also planned. No cost figures or construction dates are yet available.
