Mark Rubins was named partner at Moss Adams LLP in Santa Rosa. He has worked with public and private companies in the manufacturing, distribution and food processing industries for more than 15 years.

Business Organizations

Maureen McElroy was named president and chief executive of the Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce. Ms. McElroy was executive director of the Santa Rosa Convention and Visitors Bureau, part of the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce.


General Contractor Midstate Construction Corp. in Petaluma transferred Eddy Deniz to the project management team at the Petaluma Health Center and Benjamin Honsvick to the project management team on-site at The Meritage Resort and Spa in Napa.  Eric Bostrom was promoted to senior systems administrator.

Health Care

John Silva, M.D., rejoined the staff of Alliance Medical Center in Healdsburg and Windsor. Sandra Beddow joined the Alliance board of directors

Kurt Hahn, senior member of the board of the North Sonoma County Healthcare District, was honored by the California Hospital Association for 10 years of service on CHA's Governance Forum.

Erin Lunde, M.D., joined the Santa Rosa Community Health Centers, formerly Southwest. Dr. Lunde is an alumna of the Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency.

Five Sonoma County physicians were honored at the Sonoma County Medical Association's annual dinner on Dec. 1. Santa Rosa obstetrician/gynecologist Dr. Leonard Klay, M.D., received the Frederick Plessner Memorial award from the California Medical Association.

From the Sonoma County Medical Association, Santa Rosa family physician Bo Greaves, M.D., was given the Outstanding Contribution to Sonoma County Medicine award; Healdsburg family physician Richard Andolsen, M.D., the Outstanding Contribution to SCMA award; Santa Rosa family physician Stacey Kerr, M.D., the Outstanding Contribution to the Community award; and Santa Rosa family physician Matt Joseph, M.D., the Article of the Year award.

Pulmonologist and sleep medicine specialist Vu Tran, M.D., joined the physician staff at Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation and Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods.

In other news, Cynthia Cantril joined the foundation as program manager for Cancer Services/Patient Navigation. Ms. Cantril received the Distinguished Service Award from the national Oncology Nursing Society and Marin County’s Zero Breast Cancer award for Healing Professional.


Kevin Leiske joined Spaulding McCullough & Tansil LLP in Santa Rosa as an associate. He represents business transaction clients with a focus on taxation, corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity financings, and real estate and securities investment partnerships.

Nonprofit Organizations

Guy Chicoine, administrator at Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Medical Center, was elected to the Easter Seals Northern California board of directors.

Lori Smith Sparrow and Lawrence Goldfarb joined the Marin History Museum board of directors. Ms. Smith Sparrow is the principal of BigSkyProjects.com. Mr. Goldfarb is founder and CEO of LRG Capital Group in Larkspur.

Matt Martin was named executive director of Social Advocates for Youth in Santa Rosa. Mr. Martin has served as the agency’s interim executive director since September.

Skip Corsini is the new business development manager of San Rafael-based Whistlestop. Mr. Corsini held positions with Borders Books and Music, the Dale Carnegie organization, Bank of America and the Building Owners and Managers of San Francisco.

Personal Services

Hairstylist Julie Keel joined the creative team at Studio 128 in Geyserville. Ms. Keel is a longtime Healdsburg resident with 24 years experience in the beauty industry.
