The Nelson Family of Companies, headquartered in Sonoma, opened a new office in Campbell, replacing and expanding office space formerly situated in San Jose. Four Nelson business units – Nelson Technology, Nelson Staffing, Nelson & Associates and WorkforceLogic – will be located in the office.

In other news, the Nelson Family of Companies made a significant donation to the Junior Giants, the flagship program of the Giants Community Fund. Junior Giants is a free, non-competitive, innovative baseball program for boys and girls ages 5 to 18 years old.

Green

Infineon Raceway and NASCAR in Sonoma County donated 74 trees through “NASCAR Green Clean Air,” an initiative that neutralizes all the carbon produced by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events, to the city of Vallejo for its city park.

Nonprofit & Community Organizations

Bob and Evelyn Trinchero of Trinchero Family Estates in Napa donated nearly 3,400 acres of open space near Lake Berryessa to the Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District and an additional 240 acres to the Lake Berryessa Resort Improvement District. The land is located along Putah Creek and in Spanish Valley, northwest of Lake Berryessa.
