The North Bay Business Journal Monday will publish its 21st edition of the Book of Lists, the most comprehensive compendium of business information available for Sonoma, Marin and Napa counties.

The 216-page book, celebrated at an annual New Year networking event attended by nearly 500 people Thursday at the Doubletree Hotel in Rohnert Park, is once again packed with facts, figures, names, addresses, phone numbers and websites for businesses and their leaders across virtually every industry in the North Bay.

"One of my favorite stories about the Book of Lists comes from one of you – our customers – who told me he knows how valuable the publication is because whenever he loans out his copy to a colleague, he never gets it back," said Business Journal Editor in Chief and Associate Publisher Brad Bollinger.

The book contains scores of lists, guides and directories of North Bay industries, companies and company leaders as well as an extensive compilation of business and economic data, including the region’s largest employers.

"Our mission throughout the year at the Business Journal is to provide news, information and marketing solutions that businesses need to succeed. We firmly believe that in these uncertain economic times, the 2011 Book of Lists is an especially indispensable tool to help you achieve your business goals," Mr. Bollinger said.

And in addition to this printed edition – which received the cover design award in 2010 from our list partner DataJoe – the lists here are also available for download on our website individually or in their entirety at NorthBayBusinessJournal.com.

"As it has been since the first book in 1990, it is our sincere wish this award-winning publication finds a place on your desk or bookshelf and is opened often throughout 2011 and beyond," Mr. Bollinger said.

The book is being mailed to paid subscribers in place of the regular Jan. 24 edition and is available for purchase for $45 by calling 521-5264 or by subscribing online.
