Irvine-based Pacific Hospitality Group, owners of the Meritage Resort & Spa in Napa, hired Gene Leon as vice president of sales and marketing. Mr. Lean previously managed sales and marketing for 18 Aramark resorts, parks and cultural attractions, including ones in Denali, Monterey, and Lake Tahoe.
Anthony Isola joined the litigation team at Smith Dollar PC, a Santa Rosa real estate and financial services law firm. Mr. Isola served as an extern for the Honorable A. James Robertson II of the Superior Court of San Francisco and worked as a law clerk in the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office.
Diane Doodha was elected president of the board of trustees for the Marin Art and Garden Center in Ross. Edison Lewis is vice president, Douglas Murray treasurer and Nanette Londeree secretary. Newly elected to the board is Scot White. Christopher Kelley was hired as CEO. His most recent position was CEO of the National Kidney Foundation’s West Coast operations in San Francisco.

Sonoma County’s Gene Traverso is the recipient the 2011 Leadership Award at the 16th annual James B. and Billie Keegan Leadership Luncheon. Leadership Award honorees in recent years have included John O’Brien, Bill Friedman and Bill and M-L Reinking.

Jackson Family Wines in Santa Rosa named 15-year veteran employee Cory Jones to vice president, national sales, for its Majestic Fine Wines Division. He was most recently vice president, western zone.
Elizabeth Anderson is New York metro sales representative for Joseph Phelps Vineyards. A granddaughter of winery founder Joseph Phelps, Ms. Anderson is the first member of her generation to join the Phelps family's wine business in a full-time capacity. She was previously with Lauber Imports as a wine consultant.
Novato-based Turrentine Brokerage hired Daniel Tugaw as market researcher and analyst.
