Sonoma Cycling Adventures is a new company specializing in fully supported bike tours throughout Sonoma County for cyclists of all levels. “Fully supported” means they have a guide and van travel on the route with you. They also jump ahead and have meals and rest stops set up and waiting for the group. For overnight rides, the company coordinates lodging and all meals, so cyclists only need to show up, and concentrate on having a great time.

Novato-based Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company announced the launch of a text messaging service that sends updates and alerts to policyholders during disasters. Policyholders who frequently travel, have multiple residences, or businesses in different parts of the country, may be interested in signing up to receive texts in more than one region.

For 55 years the Bacigalupi family has been growing winegrapes and now the business welcomes visitors to its public tasting room. There, guests may taste the family’s 9-year-old pinot noir and zinfandel brand called John Tyler. The brand is named after vineyard manager John Bacigalupi and his nephew Tyler Heck, grandson of Korbel Champagne Cellars owner Paul Heck.
