Stephen Lundin has been appointed chief development officer for St. Helena Hospital Region, where he will provide administrative leadership for philanthropy for the Napa Valley, Clearlake and Vallejo campuses, and executive sponsorship for the St. Helena Hospital Foundation in Napa Valley. Raising more than $6 million annually, the foundation is a critical source of capital for St. Helena Hospital Napa Valley. He became president and chief executive officer of the Alta Bates Foundation in Berkeley in 1992, and was later named the new CEO when Alta Bates merged with Summit Medical Center in 2000.

Kurt Hahn, a 12-year board member at Healdsburg District Hospital, has been elected to a three year term on the Board of the California State Rural Healthcare Association, a leading advocate of of critical access hospitals and telemedicine, as well as clinic-hospital collaboration. Healdsburg District Hospital is a critical care access hospital. Mr. Hahn in 2009 completed two terms on the Board of the California Hospital Association and is a Board Member of the Sonoma County Taxpayers Association.

Georgina Samuel is a new licensed physician assistant at Clinic Ole in Napa. Previously, Ms. Samuel spent two and a half years at a federally qualified health center in Central California, where she assisted rural populations in accessing primary care. She graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, where she received a master’s in physician assistant studies in 2008.  She completed an undergraduate degree in biological sciences at UC Irvine in 2005.

Wine

Jackson Family Enterprises announced the promotion of Jeff Wesselkamper to the new position of executive vice president, chief legal officer and secretary for both JFE and Jackson Family Wines, Inc.  He was previously the senior vice president and general counsel for the companies. Mr.  Wesselkamper’s role now includes leadership of legal, human resources and administration for all of the Jackson family’s wine businesses. He has been with the company for 14 years.  Prior to joining JFE in 1997, he was an associate with the international law firm of Latham & Watkins, in their Chicago, San Francisco and Menlo Park offices.

Banking

Novato-based Circle Bancorp, parent company of Circle Bank, appointed John Conover to its board. Mr. Conover is a former president and CEO of San Mateo-based Borel Private Bank & Trust, where he helped it grow from $350 million in assets to more than $1.6 billion. Mr. Conover will also chair Circle Bank’s loan committee.  The bank has $306 million in assets. The bank also named Greg O’Donnell, CEO and founder of the O’Donnell Financial Group, to its board. The San Rafael resident has spent more than three decades as a financial adviser. He also hosts a weekly radio show called “Money Matters.”
