Autodesk announced that Tamra Muir, senior director of Americas Distribution and Alliances, has been recognized by Everything Channel’s CRN Magazine as one of 2011’s “Power 100 Women of the Channel.” It is the second time Muir has been included on CRN’s annual list, which honors female executives exemplifying success within the IT channel and have reached the highest levels of corporate leadership through high achievement and determined influence in the technology industry.
CamelBak in Petaluma has hired Hugh Ewing to implement systems and processes that streamline doing business with CamelBak. One of Mr. Ewing’s first assignments will be spearheading the adoption of a new business-to-business website, www.camelbakretailer.com. Mr. Ewing will also oversee CamelBak's recently-implemented MAP program that supports retailers with consistent pricing.
Jordan Vineyard & Winery announced several personnel changes in its sales department. Chris Avery has been promoted to National Sales Director. He was previously Jordan's Midwest Regional sales director since 2007 and has eight years of experience in wine distribution and restaurant management. He will manage executive relationships with wholesalers and oversee the winery’s team of regional sales directors from Colorado. Emmanuel Padilla joined Jordan as Southeast Regional sales director in early July. Most recently district manager for Republic National Distributing Company in Atlanta, Mr. Padilla, based in Florida, has nearly 13 years of experience in wine distribution and restaurant management. His territory includes the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. Brad Butcher has been appointed to the position of Midwest Regional sales director. Most recently brand manager for Southern Wine & Spirits in Chicago, Mr. Butcher has more than 16 years of experience in wine distribution and restaurant management. Mr. Butcher, based in Chicago, will oversee sales for the following states: Arizona, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, Ohio, South Dakota, Texas and Wisconsin. Crystal Reynolds has been promoted to sales coordinator. She most recently served as brand imaging coordinator at Jordan and previously held the position of administrative assistant in the Jordan sales department. She will serve as key logistics liaison for Jordan’s four Regional Sales Directors, the National Sales Director and wholesalers, as well as the primary contact for regional sales initiatives and events. She is based at the winery in Healdsburg.
