Union Bank has named three managers to its new Priority Banking units in Northgate, Mill Valley and San Rafael. The Northgate Unit is overseen by Tim Aranki. Elaine Cramer is responsible for the Mill Valley unit, and the San Rafael unit is overseen by Yukio Johnson. Aranki, Cramer and Johnson are responsible for providing individual consultation and offering a suite of specialized financial services to affluent individuals, families, and small business owners.Mr. Aranki comes to Union Bank after serving four years at Chase Bank as a licensed personal banker and small business specialist. Ms. Cramer has 32 years of financial services industry experience, spending the last 24 years in retail branches in Marin County. She served as a relationship manager with Tamalpais Bank in Mill Valley and also spent 14 years at Westamerica Bank in Mill Valley, Sausalito and San Francisco. Mr. Johnson joins Union Bank with 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. Previously, he worked for Citibank as a relationship manager.
Audrey Ewig has been hired by Clinic Ole in Napa as a new physician. She is a graduate of UC Davis School of Medicine and completed her residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital Oakland in 2003. Dr Ewig then completed a fellowship in neonatalology. She practiced in both a private practice and with a managed care organization previously. At Clinic Ole, she will utilize both neonatology and general pediatrics in both inpatient and outpatient settings for the federally qualified health center.
The Martin-O'Neil Cancer Center at St. Helen Hospital Napa Valley has hired Ethan Schram to its team of cancer specialists. Dr. Schram is board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine. His hiring is intended to increase patient access in Napa and Lake counties. Dr. Gregory Smith, medical director of the center, recruited Dr. Schram. Both physicians trained as Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation. DR. Schram graduated from UC Davis School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at Oregon Health & Science University. He completed his undergraduate at Wesleyan University.
Council on Aging Services for Seniors added two new board members: senior advocate Judy Bolduc and attorney Jeanne Miskel. They join current members Bonnie Burrell, Jeff Beeson, Dena Lash, Corrine Lorenzen, Chuck McPherson, Kathy Pinkard, John Reyes, Deborah Roberts, and Carl Vanden Heuvel.
Christopher Helgren was appointed as the new Emergency Manager for the Sonoma County Fire and Emergency Services Department. Mr. Helgren worked as an emergency coordinator in the department for over 11 years. He was part of the Emergency Management Division and his areas of responsibility included: managing the Homeland Security grant programs, maintaining the County Emergency Operations Center in a constant state of readiness, and managing the county’s 135-member volunteer Auxiliary Communications Service. Recently, he completed the Sonoma County Management Academy 10, and earned his Supervisory Certificate from Santa Rosa Junior College. He has worked as an automobile mechanic and a firefighter, managed and directed a multiple store retail loss prevention program and is an eight year veteran of the US Air Force. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History at Sonoma State and an Associate of Arts in Fire Science from Santa Rosa Junior College.
