Summit State Bank  hired Britt Cooper as its senior vice president branch relationship manager. Mr. Cooper has 28 years of banking experience in Sonoma County. He has been a branch manager and commercial banker, both with the vice president title. He has his Master’s Degree in organizational development and human resources from the University of San Francisco. He has graduated from Pacific Coast Banking School.

 

Alan LeClair has joined Bank of Marin’s San Francisco office as a commercial lender. A seasoned lender in the San Francisco and East Bay markets, Mr. LeClair was formerly with Northern Trust where he was Second Vice President and Relationship Manager for commercial and private banking clients. He has also worked with Washington Mutual Card Services, Union Bank and Wells Fargo.

 

Sonoma Bank recently hired David Casassa as vice president and commercial banker at the Marin Commercial Banking office, located at 1101 Fifth Ave. in San Rafael. Mr. Casassa comes to Sonoma Bank with more than 12 years of banking experience, most recently working for Presdio Bank in San Rafael. He is a graduate of Occidental College of Los Angeles, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. The bank also hired Doug Caesare as a financial consultant at the Santa Rosa main branch, located at 801 Fourth St. Mr. Caesare comes to Sonoma Bank with more than 17 years of experience in the investment industry. He most recently provided financial-planning services at WestAmerica Bank. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from San Jose State University.

 

Manuela Gonzalez has been appointed assistant vice president and business banking officer for Rabobank, N.A.  As a business banking officer, Ms. Gonzalez is responsible for fostering new business relationships with small- to medium-sized companies in Napa and Sonoma counties. Before joining Rabobank, she worked for Wells Fargo Bank for 14 years, most recently as a business relationship manager.  A banker for 34 years, she also worked at the former First Interstate Bank as a financial services representative. She studied business management at the University of Phoenix.Commercial Real Estate

Gisela Malone has joined Commercial Management Group as an asset manager responsible for managing and leasing the growing portfolio of owned and managed commercial properties.   Prior to relocating back to Sonoma County,  Ms. Malone was vice president and general manager for Heritage Development and Management Group in Merced.  She also served as vice president for Codding Enterprises and as the general manager for its Merced Mall property.Government

The City of American Canyon named Dana Shigley to replace current city manager Rich Ramirez, who is retiring later this year. Ms. Shigley has served the City of Anderson for 11 years in various capacities including finance director, grants manager, redevelopment agency executive director and assistant city manager before becoming city manager.  She is expected to end the year in her current position and will start her new duties in American Canyon on Jan. 2, 2012.Insurance

Rob Davenport was recently hired by Wells Fargo Insurance Services to serve as wellness consultant for its Employee Benefits team in Petaluma.  Prior to joining Wells Fargo Insurance Services, Mr. Davenport was the wellness program manager at NASA's Johnson Space Center, where he led a program that supported 17,000 employees and 65 companies. He has over 25 years of experience in the health and fitness industry.  Before joining NASA, he worked for a variety of companies including: Pacific Coast Companies, the US Navy, Applied Materials and the US Olympic Training Center implementing comprehensive health and fitness programs and building fitness centers.  While working for the Navy he served as fitness director for the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk based in Japan and the USS Emory S. Land based in Italy. He graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Science and attended graduate school at the University of Toledo.Wine Industry

The Wine Country Chapter of the Project Management Institute in Santa Rosa announced that following individuals received Project Management Professional certifications:  Carolyn Kwasnik, Lord Jason Uyder, David Lane, Sabrina Molinari and Dale Myers. To achieve the PMI PMP certification each candidate must first meet specific education and experience requirements and agree to adhere to a rigorous code of professional conduct.
