SANTA ROSA -- PD Media Lab, formed from the team behind the websites, Towns and Watch Sonoma County, is a new full-service digital marketing and advertising agency for local businesses.

Bruce Kyse, group publisher, said the media lab was created to meet the growing digital needs of clients.

Beyond creating and maintaining websites for The Press Democrat Media Group, PD Media Lab in the past two months has signed up several dozen large and small clients in the North Bay, East Bay and Sacramento area. and launched sites for 14 local companies. The latest of 14 new websites launched for local companies were for Santa Rosa-based businesses Bottle Barn and Sonoma Eyeworks.

“Our focus on innovative digital solutions is intended to help businesses convert website visitors into customers right away,” said Greg Retsinas, lab director. “An effective digital presence is much more than just a sharp look or a well-trafficked site. The content, the integration with other advertising and the performance have to be, and stay, just as sharp.”
