Santa Rosa-based 15000 Inc.  hired Jacob Miller, a mechanical designer. Mr. Miller is a graduate of California State University, Chico and a current member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.  He has volunteered his time with the Marin Municipal Water District shadowing the engineering design, drafting, surveying, and construction inspection departments.Commercial Real Estate

Keegan & Coppin Company, Inc. hired Kyle Wilburn to its North Bay team.  Mr. Wilburn begins his commercial real estate career in Keegan & Coppin’s Larkspur office, specializing in industrial, office and retail investments and leasing.   A recent graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, he majored in communications and economics with an emphasis in business.  His background includes assisting in the renovation, selling and property management of many residential investments, as well as experience in the marketing and media fields of real estate, including research, viral marketing and website design.Higher Education

Michelle Covington has been named development officer at Sonoma State University. After 12 years in college recruiting and human resources at Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies, Ms. Covington is now working with her alma mater. As development officer, she engages alumni and friends in the various academic activities of the president, provost, schools, programs and alumni association.Employment

Sonoma-based BOLT Staffing Service, Inc. recently added Alexandra Cunningham to its sales and support staff.  She earned her baccalaureate in communication studies while earning her way through Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama on a full athletic (golf) scholarship.   BOLT has two office locations, one in Sonoma and the other in American Canyon to support the wine and other varied industries of the North Bay. Law

Friedemann Goldberg LLP  hired Marci A. Reichbach to its team of attorneys. Ms. Reichbach comes to the firm with more than 13 years experience in the legal field. Her most recent position was with the Superior Court of California in San Mateo as a complex litigation research attorney. She earned undergraduate degrees in political science and psychology from Stanford University. She studied law at Yale Law School where she was chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society and on the Morris Tyler Moot Court of Appeals. After graduating she worked for four years at Pillsburry Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, an international law firm where she focused on securities fraud, antitrust, unfair business practices and contract matters. She also was an adjunct professor at the New California School of Law. Most of her work with the San Mateo Superior Court focused on securities fraud, antitrust, construction defect and complicated business tort, contract, mass tort and intellectual property cases.

Gaw Van Male hired attorney Elizabeth “Liz” Conemac as its newest associate attorney. Ms. Conemac graduated with a B.A. in English literature from the University of San Francisco in 2001 and received her juris doctor from UC Davis School of Law early last year. While at UC Davis, Ms. Conemac received the Witkin Award in Business Planning & Drafting and was a member of the Tax Law Society.  She currently serves as secretary of Napa County Women Lawyers.  Ms. Conemac is already a member of the Gaw Van Male’s estate planning department. She will continue to service clients in an associate capacity, based in the Napa office.Wine

The Napa Valley Vintners announced its board of directors for 2012. New directors include: President Rick Jones of Jones Family Vineyards; Vice President Russ Weis of Silverado Vineyards; Secretary Janet Viader of Viader Vineyard and Winery; and Treasurer Eric Sklar of Alpha Omega. Other board members include Bruce Cakebread of Cakebread Cellars; Susan Boswell of Chateau Boswell Winery; Kathleen Heitz Myers of Heitz Wine Cellars; Michael Honig of Honig Vineyard and Winery; Pat Stotesbery of Ladera Vineyards; Doug Shafer of Shafer Vineyards and Bob Torres of Trinchero Napa Valley.
