Bank of Marin has hired Norma Saavedra to manage the Business Banking Deposit Service Group. Prior to Bank of Marin she was with PacificCoast Bank in Oakland as senior vice president of cash management and senior deposit relationship officer in charge of cash management and deposit services. Jessie Blake, North Bay regional director at Sunny Hills Services, was appointed to co-chair a seat on the County of Marin’s Mental Health Board. Marin’s Mental Health Board recently opened seats to members of Community Based Organizations that advocate for mental health services for children and adults. Ms. Blake was appointed for her long-standing commitment to, and expertise in child-youth mental health issues.Hospitality and Tourism

Jamie Cherry, an  innkeeper at The Inn on First in Napa, was recently awarded the Champion of the Bed and Breakfast Industry Award from the Professional Association of International Innkeepers. Mr. Cherry received the award in recognition of his efforts to promote the innkeeping industry.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage announced that Amy Hyde has joined the company as a sales associate in its Greenbrae office.  In her new position, Ms. Hyde will specialize in residential sales in Marin County.  Ms. Hyde started her real estate career in 1997 at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and, prior to returning, most recently worked at Frank Howard Allen for three years.  Before real estate, she was the director of marketing at RS Investments, an investment management firm in San Francisco, where she was responsible for managing the consumer marketing strategy and communication program. Wine Industry

Winery Exchange appointed John Philips to vice president of sales. In this new role, Mr. Philips will lead the domestic sales team and be responsible for growing U.S. business. Mr. Philips has been connected to Winery Exchange since the company founding in 1999, serving on the board of advisers. He has  more than 25 years of experience in the U.S. and around the world. in the beverage industry. He started his career with E&J Gallo in the U.S. and went on to international assignments in Asia Pacific and Europe.  Prior to joining Winery Exchange, Mr. Phillips served as the president of Diageo (formally Guinness UDV), responsible for global wine business, and spent several years with Fosters as managing director for business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
