Christine Tevini assumed the position of president and CEO of the Windsor Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center, a 275 member business organization serving the greater Windsor community. The chamber’s board promoted Ms. Tevini from office manager, a position she held since 2007.Education

Dominican University of California appointed Steven E. Weisler as provost and Hanna Rodriguez-Farrar as the senior assistant to the president. Both Dr. Weisler and Dr. Rodriguez-Farrar will join Dominican in January. Dr. Weisler comes to Dominican from Hampshire College, where he is a professor of linguistics and has served in numerous leadership roles, including dean of enrollment and assessment, dean of academic developmen and dean of cognitive science. Dr. Weisler also serves as research fellow with the New Leadership Alliance for Student Learning and Accountability in Washington, D.C. Dr. Rodriguez-Farrar comes to Dominican from Brown University, where she most recently served as assistant to Brown University President Ruth Simmons. Dr. Rodriguez-Farrar is co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and teaching notes. She also has received numerous education honors and awards including the Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching at Brown University, the Samuel Milton Nabrit Fellowship, and the Charles H. La Tortilla Factory promoted David Trogdon to chief financial officer and Harold “Gene” Russell to vice president of sales, effective immediately. Mr. Trogdon, serving as the company’s controller in the accounting department for the past seven years, will oversee all corporate finance, compliance and accounting department functions. Mr. Russell is being elevated from director to vice president of sales responsible for strategic planning, directing and oversight of sales activities and execution nationally. Mr. Trogdon brings more than 25 years of financial management and experience within manufacturing, wholesale distribution, retail sales and service industries. The Napa Valley Museum appointed two new members to its board of trustees. Dan Petroski and Marden Plant were named to the museum board for three-year terms. Frank Howard Allen announced that Dana Kreuzberger has been named manager of the Novato office. Ms. Kreuzberger began her real estate career with Frank Howard Allen in 2003. Prior to her career in real estate, Ms. Kreuzberger founded, developed and managed Accounting Additions/Kreuzberger & Associates, a privately held executive search and contract staffing firm which operated in the Bay Area for more than 20 years.d.Senior living

Council on Aging Services for Seniors announced that Laura Colgate has been named as the new director of senior nutrition services. Her responsibilities will include the Meals on Wheels program, managing the senior dining sites in Sonoma County, investigating fundraising opportunities for the nutrition program, and managing 26 staff and over 100 volunteers. Most recently, Ms. Colgate served 10 months as the interim executive director for the Family Justice Center Sonoma County, following 18 months as the project manager for the center. Ms. Colgate has over 26 years of project management experience with Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies.
