Tom Adams joined Dickenson, Peatman & Fogarty as senior counsel in the Land Use department in the firm’s Napa office. Mr. Adams brings over 14 years of outside and in-house experience in providing legal counsel on environmental permitting, land use, California Environmental Quality Act and water rights. Before joining DP&F, Mr. Adams was in-house counsel for a large vineyard development company, providing legal counsel and project management services for more than 35 vineyard and winery properties in Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino and Santa Barbara counties, Oregon and Washington. His practice also includes local government matters involving winery use permits, lot-line adjustments, easements and entitlements.

Mr. Fish brings 30 years of experience to the firm, with expertise in family law, security industry broker-client disputes and attorney versus client fee disputes. The board of trustees of the Land Trust of Napa County appointed Douglas Parker as president and chief executive officer, succeeding President and CEO Joel Tranmer and John Hoffnagle, who served as the executive director of the trust for 24 years. Mr. Parker has worked in land conservation for over 20 years, serving as CEO of two different statewide conservation organizations. He comes from Audubon Vermont, where he has served as executive director since 2005, as well as vice president of the National Audubon Society.Technology

Tiburon resident Erik Zech joined Pearl.com as chief financial officer, where he will lead the company’s finance, accounting, investor relations, treasury and corporate finance functions. Prior to joining Pearl.com, he served as CFO of Real Goods Solar (NASDAQ: RSOL), where he helped lead the company through its initial public offering in 2008. CADE Estate Winery appointed Danielle Cyrot winemaker. She comes to CADE from St. Clement. Before that, she was an enologist and was then promoted to assistant winemaker at Stag’s Leap Winery under her mentor, Robert Brittan. After graduating with a bachelor of science degree in viticulture and enology from the University of California at Davis, Ms. Cyrot worked at wineries in Alsace, France, and south Australia.
