NORTH BAY -- The Business Journal has selected 17 companies for our second annual Healthiest Companies Recognition Awards to be honored at the North Bay Business Journal's 2012 Health Care Conference.

"The trend toward prevention in health care is unstoppable and the companies that recognize that are reaping the benefits in a happier, healthier workplace, lower insurance claims and many other benefits," said Business Journal Editor and Associate Publisher Brad Bollinger. "Besides, it is the right thing to do."

Profiles of the winners will appear in a special publication supplementing the Nov. 12 issue, and winners will be honored at the annual Health Care Conference on Nov. 14 at the Hyatt Vineyard Creek in Santa Rosa. This annual conference will not only recognize the 2012 winners but be a post-election discussion of health care reform.
