Called the Revenue Cycle Center, the new Santa Rosa office will centralize employees from Adventist Health's Northern California Network who work in billing, health information management and preadmissions.

The center, located at 463 Aviation Blvd. in a business park near Charles M. Schulz--Sonoma County Airport, consolidates about 120 employees from Howard Memorial Hospital in Willits, Ukiah Valley Medical Center, St. Helena Hospital Napa Valley and St. Helena Hospital Clear Lake. "We are pleased that almost all current employees will have a role in the Revenue Cycle Center," Paul Selivanoff, Adventist Health vice president of finance, revenue management and physician services, said in the announcement today. "Staffing efficiencies have been realized mostly due to attrition or re-assignment."

The health system, which operates hospitals some 19 hospitals, more than 150 clinics, 14 home care agencies and hospice services in California, Washington, Oregon and Hawaii, today said such consolidation trends are occurring throughout the state's health care industry.

Adventist Health expects the Revenue Cycle Center to help increase efficiency and enhanced quality.

“The ultimate goal of the Revenue Cycle Center is to improve patient care and the patient experience,” said Buck McDonald, senior vice president of finance and CFO for the Northern California Network. "We anticipate that we will be fully functional by the end of the first quarter of 2013."
