Bank of Marin hired Jill Selden as branch manager for the its new Tiburon branch, which opened Nov. 19 in the Cove Shopping Center. Prior to joining Bank of Marin, Ms. Selden was with Union Bank where she managed their Tiburon branch for the past two years. Prior to that, she worked at Wells Fargo Bank in Tiburon as an assistant branch manager.

Bank of Marin also promoted Jackie Williams to market manager for Tiburon and Sausalito. Ms. Williams was previously the branch manager for Bank of Marin's Strawberry branch, which is now being relocated to Tiburon. Both Ms. Williams and Ms. Selden live in Tiburon and volunteer in the community. Ms. Williams is active with the Tiburon Chamber and Ms. Selden is involved with Tiburon youth sports.Health Care

Redwood Regional Medical Group's risk assessment counselor, Kathleen Mott, R.N., MS, WHNP-BC, recently received her credential as an advanced practice nurse in genetics, issued by the Genetic Nursing Credentialing Commission. Only 54 nurses in the United States hold this specialized credential. Only nurses who have a graduate degree in nursing and devote at least 50 percent of their practice to genetic counseling may even apply. To be considered, a candidate must submit a portfolio of at least 50 recent cases and 4 case studies. Ms. Mott also completed a supervised internship in genetic counseling at UCSF as part of her graduate degree work. Proof of this supervised practice was required in the credentialing application.Ms. Mott is director of the Genetic Evaluation and Management Program at Redwood Regional Medical Group, providing cancer risk assessment and genetic counseling to patients. She has worked as women’s health nurse practitioner for 38 years specializing in the care of breast cancer patients since 1995. She is a member of the International Society of Nurses in Genetics and the Oncology Nursing Society. 

Michael Stusser, founder of Osmosis Day Spa Sanctuary in Freestone, was awarded in the individual category of Green Spa Network Visionary Leadership at The Green Spa Network's Sustainability Awards. Lisa Yoshida, Esq., returned to the practice of law with Anderson, Zeigler, Disharoon, Gallagher and Gray. For the last 12 years she worked in the affordable housing development field starting a development company, consulting for Burbank Housing Development Corp., and most recently as director of development for Rural Communities Housing Development Corp. in Ukiah. Frank Howard Allen announced that Carolyn Metz, an agent in its Santa Rosa office, completed the Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternatives Certification Program. Presented by the California Association of Realtors, the program teaches agents how to provide homeowners with the expertise, knowledge and guidance to avoid foreclosure. HAFA short sales are the only standardized short sale program adopted by multiple national lenders and servicers, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Ms. Metz has been with Frank Howard Allen since 2005.Technology

Message Bus, which makes cloud-based infrastructure for email, mobile and social messaging based in Corte Medara, announced the addition of four team members. Joining the team are Paul Midgen as vice president of product management, Neil Schwartzman as vice president of compliance and industry relations, Tim Moore as director of customer performance Len Shneyder as senior marketing manager. Mr. Midgen spent the last 18 years at Microsoft in a variety of departments and roles. He is on the board of the Trusted Domain Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to the creation free technologies that restore public trust in Internet messaging and content delivery. Most recently, he acted as senior program manager for email delivery and anti-spam at Microsoft's Hotmail, one of the largest mailbox providers on the internet. Mr. Schwartzman has been fighting mail abuse since the mid-1990s. He is executive director of the Coalition Against Unsolicited Commercial Email (CAUCE), an all-volunteer advocacy organization, and previously ran Return Path's email certification business for a number of years. Mr. Moore was instrumental in creating standards and metrics to investigate and vet potential certification customers. His work will help ensure ongoing compliance, raise the bar on performance and maintain the overall health of the Message Bus Global Delivery Network. Mr. Shneyder comes to Message Bus from IBM, where he was focused on promoting IBM's SaaS email execution solutions. He is a veteran of the email service provider world and also worked for Pivotal Veracity.
