Kristina Combs is the new executive director of human resources and labor relations at College of Marin. She replaces Anita Morris, who served a short time as interim executive director. Ms. Combs arrives at College of Marin from Alliant International University, headquartered in San Francisco. She was a senior administrative official responsible for academic and staff human resource programs for Alliant, an accredited university with five professional schools, 4,000 graduate and undergraduate students, 1,600 represented and non-represented faculty, staff and student employees. Health Care

Angwin resident Julie Crow-Petersen, R.N., was hired as a flight nurse by California Shock Trauma Air Rescue, better known as CALSTAR. Ms. Crow-Petersen obtained a nursing degree from Pacific Union College, also in Angwin. Before joining CALSTAR, she worked in Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital's intensive care unit for nearly three years and previously worked in the cardiac unit at St. Helena Hospital Napa Valley.Residential Real Estate

Veteran Marin real estate agent Rocky Vannucci joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage as sales manager for central and southern Marin County. As a vice president and manager of the Frank Howard Allen Realtor 60-agent office in San Rafael since 2006, he oversaw one of the top real estate offices in the county in sales and dollar volume. He began his real estate career in 1976 and received his broker's license in 1978. He managed William Timmer Realty for five years before joining Frank Howard Allen in 1984.
