Enphase Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: ENPH) of Petaluma said its microinverters are available in Switzerland, the seventh European country for sales and installations. Enphase has regional offices in Lyon, France; Milan, Italy; and Milton Keynes, England. Integrasolar, SolarMarkt and Sunergic are large photovoltaic suppliers in Switzerland and have signed strategic partnership agreements with Enphase to market and sell the microinverter system there.Health Care

The Sutter Health network of doctors, hospitals and other health care service providers announced its financial performance for 2012. Sutter Health’s combined 2012 system-wide income from the day-to-day operations of its hospitals, care centers and other services was $549 million, compared to $697 million in 2011. Sutter Health posted a gain of $242 million in investment income and changes in net unrealized gains and losses from investments classified as trading in 2012, compared to a loss of $14 million in 2011. Total income for 2012 was $735 million, compared to $634 million in 2011. The system’s total 2012 operating revenues were $9.6 billion, compared to $9.1 billion in 2011. Sutter Health’s 2012 operating performance includes $94 million of net supplemental payments associated with California’s temporary program to obtain federal matching dollars to partially offset underpayments in previous years for the care of Medi-Cal patients. Sutter Health hospitals cared for 22 percent of all Medi-Cal patients discharged from hospitals in the counties served by Sutter Health.

Adventist Health, which has a number of North Bay locations, will transition responsibility for its revenue-management services to Cerner Corp. (Nasdaq: CERN). The Roseville-based health system’s hospitals, clinics and home health services have more than $2.7 billion in annual revenue. This strategic alignment expands on the 2012 selection of Cerner to provide an integrated revenue cycle platform across Adventist Health’s acute, ambulatory and postacute venues. The new agreement covers the transition of revenue-management services to Cerner to improve end-to-end revenue management across the entire Adventist Health organization.Publishing

Smart Meetings magazine, a Sausalito-based resource for meeting professionals, received five nominations for the 2013 Maggie Awards. Sponsored by the Western Publishers Association, the "Maggies" honor excellence in print and electronic publishing in more than 100 editorial, design, promotional and event categories. Smart Meetings is a finalist in four categories within the creative trade and consumer print division for publications with circulation of less than 50,000: best feature article, best trade interview or profile, best editorial layout and best single trade editorial illustration. Under the special trade and consumer print category, Smart Meetings is one of just five finalists for most-improved trade publication, following a newly refreshed design last year.Technology

Systema Software, a Larkspur-based provider of claims administration software and services to the insurance industry, and Instec, a provider of policy administration services and technology to the commercial property and casualty insurance industry, formed a strategic alliance to offer an integrated insurance platform. The platform is being designed to seamlessly intergrate SIMS Claims, Systema's next-generation claims administration software, through Web services to Quicksolver, Instec's policy-administration system. Insurers can access this platform as a hosted solution via the cloud or implement it on-premises.Wine

Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards of Windsor has been named the top wine in two categories of the 24th annual restaurant poll in the April issue of Wine & Spirits Magazine. Sonoma-Cutrer was deemed the most popular wine by the glass for both red and white varietals. It's the third time in five years the wine has been named at the top of this category. Sonoma-Cutrer also repeated its award of most popular chardonnay for 22 of the past 24 years.
