Sixteen of the North Bay's leading women will be honored at North Bay Business Journal's 13th annual "Women in Business" awards gala July 10, joining a select group of more than 100 female executives and entrepreneurs to receive the prestigious designation.

"These are incredibly accomplished women," said Business Journal Editor-in-Chief and Associate Publisher Brad Bollinger. "It is our privilege to honor them and take one night to celebrate their route to success."

The Journal had an unusual outpouring of nominations this year. "Nearly 40 women were nominated and any one of them could have been selected," Mr. Bollinger said. "I particularly want to thank those who took the time to submit a nomination. Many of you were previous recipients and your continued involvement means a great deal to us and, I am sure, to this year's honorees."
