SANTA ROSA -- Commercial airline passenger volume at Charles M. Schulz--Sonoma County Airport rose once again in July, reaching a new record since such service returned to Santa Rosa in 2008.
Last month, 22,470 passengers flew into or out of the airport via Horizon Air, the airport's sole commercial carrier, a 9 percent increase from a year before, according to the airport's monthly passenger report released Tuesday morning.
More than 128,000 passengers went through the airport in the first seven months of the year, up 6.9 percent from the same period in 2012.
The airport currently accommodates 13 airline flights a day, connecting to San Diego, Los Angeles, Portland and Seattle.
