Redwood Credit Union updated its mobile banking apps for Android and iOS smartphone and tablets to allow members enrolled in online banking (https://www.redwoodcu.org/products/personal/online-eservices/mobile-banking) to deposit checks on the go. The institution recently also upgraded its online banking system and website with improved navigation and search functions.

San Rafael-based automotive and heavy-duty aftermarket parts business mergers-and-acquisition firm Marx Group Advisors launched a new website (marxgroupadvisors.com). The rating for the city of Santa Rosa Utilities Department wastewater system revenue bond was upgraded by Standard & Poor's, to AA-minus from A-plus. That moves the bond rating to a "high-grade" investment from an "upper medium grade" one.Construction

Located in north San Diego County near the Mira Mesa, Del Mar, La Jolla, Torrey Pines and the Miramar business areas, Hyatt House is designed to cater to business travelers. St. Helena Hospital received top honors for surgery safety and outcomes in the recent Consumer Reports rating of U.S. hospitals on patient safety during and after surgery. St. Helena Hospital was only one of three hospitals in the Bay Area to receive such a high rating. The ratings include an overall surgery rating, which combines results for 27 categories of scheduled surgeries, as well as individual ratings for five specific procedure types: back surgery, hip replacement, knee replacement, angioplasty and carotid artery surgery. The surgery ratings are based on an analysis of billing claims that hospitals submitted to Medicare for patients 65 and older from 2009 through 2011. The claims were from 2,463 hospitals in all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico.Hospitality & Tourism
