Two new associate accountants have joined Pisenti & Brinker LLP. Alyssa Foster is a graduate of Simpson University and Lilia Moreno graduated from Sonoma State University. Both have prior experience in the financial industry.Awards

Patricia Gill, executive director of Brain Injury Network of the Bay Area, received a Heart of Marin Award for excellence in leadership. In addition to the award, Ms. Gill received $5,000 for her organization from Marin Community Foundation.  Since 2008, Ms. Gill has served as executive director at BINBA, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide programs and services that improve the quality of life for adults and families impacted by acquired brain injury, and to raise public awareness within the community. BINBA has been located in Marin for 28 years.  Banking and Finance

Private Ocean, a Marin County wealth management firm, has expanded its equity ownership to include four of the firm's leaders. The new equity owners are advisers Sarah Wotherspoon, Alex Gangl, Charles Pyfer, and Justin Hult, director of investment operations and chief compliance officer.  To become an owner, candidates must meet specific criteria and participate in a rigorous application and interview process. The four new LLC members join Dr. Frank Jones, investment chair, and Dr. Susan Dickson, chief operating officer, who became members of the firm in 2011. The Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce announced its Board of Directors and Executive Committee Division Chairs for 2014. Heading the 2014 Executive Committee are: Rolf Nelson, Exchange Bank, chairman of the board; Keo Hornbostel, Pure Luxury Transportation, chair-elect; Doug Hilberman, AXIA Architects, immediate past chair.
