Moss Adams announced several recent personnel additions in Santa Rosa. Bill Vyenielo was hired as business consulting senior manager. He comes to Moss Adams with deep agricultural and winery experience and will work on the firm’s food, wine and ag group. He has many years of experience in helping wineries improve their operational efficiencies, and strengthen their financial systems, as well as increasing brand visibility.

Dmitri Alexeev was named tax senior manager, with more than 16 years of public accounting experience.  He has worked with many public and private companies and has extensive tax compliance and consultation experience in the various areas such as corporate and partnership taxation, state taxation, and mergers and acquisitions. He will be working with clients primarily in financial services.

Joe Hester joined as tax manager, bringing over 20 years of experience in public and private accounting, He has worked closely with high net worth individuals, as well as many privately owned businesses, advising and executing accounting and tax services.  He will be serving clients across multiple industries for Moss Adams, including wineries, construction and manufacturing.Banking and Finance

Bank of Marin honored Leah Bryan from Petaluma and Tara Johnson from Sonoma as the most recent graduates its retail officer training program, which rewards trainees with the title of assistant vice president and a role of assistant branch manager in one of the bank’s 21 branches. Ms. Bryan became assistant branch manager for the bank's office on Fourth Street in Petaluma and Ms. Johnson is now the assistant branch manager for the bank's office in Greenbrae.

He also served as the assistant director of airport properties for the Oakland International Airport for five years. Kristin Berger recently joined the Climate Protection Campaign as the director of development and communications, bringing over 25 years of experience working with communities. Dr. Frederick L. Johnson was named as a new board member for Sutter West Bay Hospitals and Sutter West Bay Medical Foundation. Dr. Johnson is the director of anesthesia services and chief of staff at Sutter Lakeside Hospital in Lakeport. He also serves as president of Lake County anesthesia PC. Dr. Johnson worked for six years in multiple hospital settings prior to matriculating into the State University of New York Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Joseph Phelps Vineyards promoted Justin Ennis to winemaker at the company’s Freestone estate, located on the western Sonoma Coast. In his new role, Mr. Ennis will be responsible for all day-to-day winemaking activities at the Joseph Phelps Freestone winery, working closely with vice president and director of winemaking Damian Parker. Mr. Ennis joined Joseph Phelps in 2007 as cellar master in Freestone, after nine years as cellar master for William Selyem Winery in Healdsburg, as well as harvest supervisor and cellar master for wineries in New Zealand and Argentina. In 2011, he was promoted to assistant winemaker in Freestone.
