Novato's SolarCraft installed a solar electricity system at Napa Valley Country Club. The system is mounted on a hillside above the golf course. It consists of 870 high-efficiency solar panels covering 17,610 square feet. The panels are expected to generate about 363,000 kilowatt-hours of energy annually, enough to power 57 average homes daily. Excess power generated during the day offsets the club's energy bill. Energy generated could reduce power plant demand-created emissions by 105 tons of greenhouse gases annually, equivalent to carbon dioxide-equivalent pollution from 6 million miles of driving over 30 years.Health Care
