HEALDSBURG -- Truett-Hurst Inc. (Nasdaq: THST), wrapped up a wine-supply agreement with a Fullerton company that has sold millions of gift baskets in stores and online nationwide and in 30 countries.

Truett-Hurst (707-431-4423, truetthurstinc.com) has been selected by Houdini, Inc., to create a range of wines under three unique brands for distribution in its gift baskets for the upcoming holiday season, according to the announcement Thursday.

"As we continue to aggressively grow our business, we believe Houdini's gift basket solutions offer the perfect complement to our wine lineup and allows the company to expand and efficiently deliver our products into new marketplaces," said Phil Hurst, co-founder and chief executive officer of Truett-Hurst, in a statement.

Houdini is known for its 30-year-old catalog and online storefront, Wine Country Gift Baskets, and it has sold more than 50 million gift baskets at warehouse clubs, mass merchandisers, liquor retailers, specialty stores, catalog companies and internet sites in the United States and in more than 30 countries.
