Steven Leonard, senior vice president and principal in Cassidy Turley's San Rafael office and a former director at Circle Bank prior to its acquisition by Umpqua Bank, joined the board of directors of Millbrae-based Trans Pacific National Bank. Mr. Leonard served on the board for Circle Bank from 2005--2012.
Santa Rosa-based Redwood Credit Union named Suzanne Knowlton as marketing manager. In her new role, she oversees the credit union's marketing department staff and daily operations, including the credit union's brand and product promotions, advertising, online and other marketing efforts for the North Bay and San Francisco counties it serves. She has more than 15 years of experience in marketing management at Lowepro, Blurb and O'Reilly Media. Her background also includes managing online and social media programs and developing projects with organizations globally. She earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Sacramento State University.

Mechanics Bank appointed Larry Fountain executive vice president and director of commercial banking. He has more than 25 years commercial banking experience, most recently as executive vice president and San Francisco Bay Area regional president for Torrey Pines Bank in Oakland. Mr. Fountain received a bachelor's degree in agricultural economics and business management from University of California, Davis, and an MBA in finance from Golden Gate University. Sonoma Valley Hospital Foundation named four new board members, three of whom were highly instrumental in the recent $11 million capital campaign. The additions have financial, development, strategic planning, communications and legal experience. David Good, Bill Brinton and Bill Lynch each supported the capital campaign in support of the recently opened emergency room and surgery center. The foundation board also welcomes Jennifer Hainstock who lives and works in Sonoma. She has been an attorney since 1992 and has an estate-planning practice in town.Hospitality
Peacock Gap Golf Club in Petaluma appointed Pat Sorber general manager of all property operations. Ms. Sorber has 30 years of hospitality experience in hotel and event center management and food and beverage operations. In her new role, she will oversee operations such as golf, the restaurant and events at the new Clubhouse at Peacock Gap.Technology
Agilent Technologies named Jay Alexander as Santa Rosa-based Keysight Technologies' chief technology officer, effective immediately. Agilent in September said it would separate into two publicly traded companies this year. In his new position, Mr. Alexander will lead Keysight's technology development, drive its product roadmap and manage the company's resource allocation across divisions to transform Keysight's portfolio to proactively meet customers' needs. He has held leadership positions within Agilent's Electronic Measurement Group, most recently as vice president and general manager for the Oscilloscope and Protocol Division. He earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Northwestern University and a master's degree in computer science from University of Colorado, Boulder. He is a licensed professional engineer and a senior member of IEEE and holds 24 U.S. patents.
