Bank of Marin Bancorp (Nasdaq: BMRC) promoted Janet Hayward to market manager of the Northgate/San Rafael region and Renee Rymer to market manager of the Southern Marin region. They will support business banking, with an emphasis on building new community relationships. They will continue to report to Peter Pelham, director of retail banking. Ms. Hayward, based at the Northgate branch, has been with the bank for 21 years and has in-depth knowledge of deposit and lending products for all sizes of businesses. She currently sits on the boards of Image for Success and the Terra Linda Rotary. Ms. Rymer, based at the Greenbrae branch, has been with the bank for 10 years and is an expert in banking for nonprofit organizations and medical-related businesses. She has been a member of the Marin Symphony board for 20 years, sings in the Marin Symphony chorus and is on the board of Central Marin Rotary.Construction
Soiland Company added two to its family of companies. Tom Shearer joined as operations director of the Soil Division's Grab N' Grow and Soils Plus businesses. His 30-year career in the manufacturing and production industry includes electronic production, medical-device engineering and manufacturing and nutraceuticals. He specializes in quality control and cost management and is a California master gardener.

In addition, Brett Wilmes is outside sales representative for compost, soil and aggregate products. Born and raised in Sonoma County, Mr. Wilmes has developed his sales career over the last decade, focusing solely on soil, aggregate and custom stone sales for the last four years. In addition to his career in sales, he also started serving on the board of directors for the Engineering Contractors Association two years ago.

Santa Rosa's Quattrocchi Kwok Architects, provider of master planning, design and construction administration services for K--12 education facilities, added John Dybczak as an associate. He came from TLCD Architecture in Santa Rosa and has almost 20 years of education design experience. He has managed the successful completion of numerous modernization and new construction projects for public schools in Northern California. His current projects include new classroom buildings for Ross Valley School District, Martinez Unified School District and San Mateo Union High School District. He serves on the Cardinal Newman High School board of directors and was a contributing member of the 2013 Coalition for Adequate School Housing (CASH) Conference Planning Committee. He earned his undergraduate architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
April Haines joined the North Bay office of Jensen Landscape Services as executive account manager. She has a horticultural degree from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, and many landscape-related certifications, including certified arborist. She has more than 15 years of experience working in the North Bay landscape industry.Entertainment

Santa Rosa Symphony appointed four to its board of directors. Eileen Carlisle, born in Fargo, N.D., graduated from Indiana University and sits on the boards of Actor's Theatre, Rotary Club of Santa Rosa, Rotary Club Foundation (and chairs the Finance Committee) and The Salvation Army of Santa Rosa. Betha MacClain moved to the Bay Area to attend the University of California. She holds a master's degree in culture and spirituality from Holy Names University, as well as a master's of educational leadership from University of California, Berkeley. She worked as a grant coordinator and visual arts teacher in the ArtQuest program at Santa Rosa High School for nine years. She was a member of the Sonoma County Arts Council Arts Education Alliance and the Sonoma County Museum Visioning Committee. She is currently principal at Jack London Elementary School in Santa Rosa. Mark Jacobson graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and began practicing medicine in Santa Rosa in 1987. He has been on staff at the Kaiser Permanente in Santa Rosa and is currently assistant chief of ophthalmology.
