Mill Valley Redwood Credit Union location opens

Redwood Credit Union (RCU) opened a new branch in Mill Valley in Marin County and appointment the branch's manager.

The full-service branch opened Dec. 5 in Mill Valley at 695 E. Blithedale Ave. in the Alto Plaza Shopping Center. It features three 24-hour access ATMs; a 'technology bar' for members to access online banking and information; staff to assist with accounts, loans and financial wellness; and a children's activity area. The branch is open Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m., and Saturdays, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.

The 273,000-member credit union also announced Wesley Purvis as manager of its new branch. The credit union stated that Purvis will oversee member service, staff management and daily branch operations, as well as local community and business development efforts.

Previously, Purvis held numerous positions at Bank of the West in Northern California, including financial services representative, financial services officer, branch sales manager, and most recently as vice president and branch manager of the bank's Mill Valley location.

Redwood Credit Union has two additional Marin County locations.
