Jim Reinhart has been hired as chief financial officer of MrOwl, a free, digital internet search and sharing platform. Reinhart is a resident of Ross in Marin County.
He comes to the Albuquerque, New Mexico-based company with more than 20 years of technology investment banking experience, according to the announcement. Most recently, he helped establish the U.S. Technology Investment Banking group within Ernst & Young Capital Advisors, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ernst & Young, LLP.
Prior to Ernst & Young, he launched the San Francisco presence of Harris Williams &Co.’s technology investment banking group, after building his investment banking career at Goldman, Sachs & Co., Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown, and J.P. Morgan & Co.
He received an MBA from the Tuck Business School at Dartmouth College and bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.
