Judson Howe is the new chief financial officer of Frank R. Howard Memorial Hospital.
Howe, who has worked as interim finance executive at HMH since August 2016, assumed the official title March 8, the Mendocino County-based hospital announced today.
Howe has been overseeing finance, accounting and the budgeting process for HMH since the fall of 2016. Prior to this, he directed the finances of the hospital in his role as regional director of financial services for Mendocino County where he oversaw finance and accounting.
Originally from Massachusetts, Howe said he was attracted to the Mendocino region for its rural charm, reminding him of his hometown of 6,000 people.
Before coming to Mendocino County, Howe served as the director for business intelligence for Glendale Adventist Medical Center. His specialty has been focused on empowering employees to make more informed process improvement decisions by providing them with key insights and data to help them perform their jobs better. Howe is a Certified Public Accountant and earned his bachelor of science degree with a concentration in accounting from California State University - San Bernardino.
