Napa County Farm Bureau promotes Ryan Klobas to CEO

Napa County Farm Bureau on Thursday afternoon said it promoted Ryan Klobas from policy director to CEO amid restructuring the 700-member organization toward outreach.

The organization to increase local community outreach and education, positioning the farm bureau as "the premier policy organization" and "leading voice of Napa County agriculture," the announcement said.

The group's board of directors voted on the promotion and new direction at its Aug. 15,

'Ryan has fostered relationships with many of our members, has collaborated well with our Board of Directors, and has our full support to lead our organization towards a brighter future,' said Johnnie White, board president.

Klobas expressed appreciation after learning of his promotion. 'It is an honor to have the trust and support from our Board of Directors to further the Farm Bureau's policy goals and community outreach efforts,' Klobas said. 'I'm ready to hit the ground running, and am eager for what the future holds for our organization and the Napa County agricultural community,' Klobas added.

Napa County Farm Bureau started over 100 years ago, when members banded together to share resources and promote agriculture throughout the county.
