Corte Madera resident Kitty Whitaker, R.N., M.S., CEO of Hospice by the Bay, was appointed vice chairwoman of California Hospice and Palliative Care Association. The association, located in Sacramento, is a membership organization that serves over 200 hospices in California and Nevada. Its mission is to promote and strengthen the delivery of palliative and hospice care to patients and their families through education and advocacy.
Patrick Bennett, urologist at North Bay Urology in Greenbrae and Novato and former chief of staff at Marin General Hospital, has been honored by the Marin Prostate Cancer Information and Support Group with the Physician Award, which recognizes outstanding work and commitment to serving the prostate cancer community.
Marin Employer Advisory Council (EAC) recently hired Jasmine Anderson, employment law attorney with Hopkins & Carley, ALC in San Jose as their newest board member. Fishman comes to the company as a licensed broker with over fifteen years of property management experience.
