Health Care conference speakers announced
Providence Healthcare St. Joseph Health CEO Rod Hochman, M.D., will be the keynote speaker Nov. 15 at the North Bay Business Journal's Health Care Conference at the Hyatt Vineyard Creek in Santa Rosa.
In July, Providence Health & Services and St. Joseph's Health completed the formation of Providence St. Joseph Health and named Hochman as CEO. That agreement brought St. Joseph's network, including Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and Queen of the Valley in Napa, into a combined organization with 100,000 employees and dozens of hospitals across seven states.
The system includes 50 hospitals, 829 physician clinics, senior services, supportive housing and many other health and educational services across Alaska, California, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas and Washington.
Other speakers will participate in panels discussions on topics such as the role of small health care districts and innovation in a health care setting.
“This is a powerful line up speakers across a broad range of topics important to health care professionals and the community at large,” said Publisher Brad Bollinger.
The conference will include the presentation of the North Bay Business Journal's Healthiest Companies Awards. It begins with registration at 7:30 a.m. and program will be presented from 8-11:30 a.m. Tickets: $65 per person or $675 per table of 10. Information: nbbj.news/health16 or call 707-521-5264.
The Health Care Conference is underwritten by St. Joseph Health and Western Health Advantage with major sponsorship by Kaiser Permanente and Sutter Health Plus.
