Napa, Solano hotels fuller in February, emptier in Marin, Sonoma

Napa and Solano counties saw a boost in hotel occupancy rates in February over last year, while two other counties saw rates remain basically unchanged, according to a monthly report from hospitality data analysis firm STR.

Napa County average room occupancy rate was 67.4%, up 2.4% over the same month in 2016. The rate of increase in Solano County was 2.8% to 70%.

Little movement was reported for the other two counties, with Sonoma County’s rate reported at 69.7% and Marin’s at 75.1%

Room rates rose in all but Marin County over February 2016 rates.
