Silver Trident Winery Tasting Home founders Bob Binder and Walter Jost have announced that Shane Soldinger has been named the winery’s general manager.

Soldinger was the first employee hired by the founders when the Yountville-based winery was established in 2015. According to the announcement, he also serves on the board of directors of the Yountville Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Silverado Pickups band.

Soldinger grew up in Chicago and first entered the wine business in 2000 when he worked a harvest at Cosentino Winery, eventually becoming general manager there. He earned his sommelier certification through the Court of Master Sommeliers and was also the director of sales and marketing for Crocker & Starr Wines.

Danielle Lagana has been hired as practice administrator with Healdsburg Physician Group, part of Healdsburg District Hospital. She has 14 years of health care management experience and recently worked as the ambulatory services manager at Virginia Commonwealth University.

The Redwood Empire chapter of the American Institute of Architects has named Liz Edwards as executive director. She replaced Wendy Young, who has become executive director of the Sonoma County Medical Association.

The AIA stated that Edwards, who lives in Sonoma, funded and managed the United States Bartenders’ Guild, a national nonprofit, membership based, network in the beverage industry for more than six years and has launched several craft spirit brands through national programs and creative marketing & events.

Sonoma Land Trust, which since 1976 has helped preserve nearly 50,000 acres, has announced the addition of three new board members — Marie Andel, Simon Blattner and Scott Hafner.

Andel is the chief administrative officer for CSAA Insurance Group, according to the land trust. Blattner is a retired business executive in the printing, paper and fine arts industries. Hafner is a managing partner of Hafner Vineyard in Healdsburg.

Ryan Nemeyer of Coldwell Banker Brokers of the Valley in Napa has won the company’s International President’s Circle Award for his sales production in 2016.

Recipients of the award are among the top 6 percent of all Coldwell Banker sales associates worldwide, said a news release.
