Petaluma’s CrossCheck, a payments guarantee company, has promoted Debbie Harlin Keene to the position of controller.
She reports directly to Executive Vice President of Finance Dave Kilat.
Harlin Keene has 14 years of experience in the tax and accounting field and 20-plus years of business experience. She joined CrossCheck as the assistant controller in September 2014.
She is a licensed California CPA and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs. Harlin Keene earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration degree from Loyola University Chicago and her masters in taxation from Golden Gate University.
Kaiser Permanente announced the recent appointment of Diane Hernandez as area finance officer for Marin–Sonoma, effective April 17.
Hernandez joined Marin-Sonoma in 1990, and most recently served as interim AFO for Marin-Sonoma and Napa-Solano. As interim AFO in Marin-Sonoma, the company stated that Hernandez was responsible for hiring, onboarding and building the newly transformed Supply Chain initiative work at each facility.
Hernandez earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and a master’s in business administration from Santa Clara University
Rabobank N.A. recently named Steven Knudsen vice president and business development officer for the North Coast area. Knudsen will focus on developing client relationships and helping businesses grow primarily in the vineyard, winery, ranching and specialty food sectors throughout Sonoma, Napa, Lake and Mendocino counties.
Before joining Rabobank, Knudsen was communications and development coordinator for the Sonoma County Farm Bureau and director of communications for International Agri-Center, the bank stated. He earned his master’s degree in agriculture with a concentration in marketing and communication, and his bachelor’s degree in food science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
Knudsen is currently a board member of Goodwill Redwood Empire and executive committee board member of Sonoma County Alliance.
Heffernan Insurance Brokers announced that Allison Redding has joined the company as assistant vice president in the Benefits Department of the Petaluma office.
Redding comes to Heffernan with extensive sales experience, having previously held positions at Ricoh USA and most recently Paychex, the company stated. Heffernan Insurance Brokers, formed in 1988, provides insurance and financial services products to a range of businesses and individuals. It is headquartered in Walnut Creek.
John Ash & Co. Restaurant hired sous chef Danny Girolomo and Beverage Director Sean Brosnihan. Girolomo will work closely with executive chef Thomas Schmidt in creating the restaurant’s seasonal menus, using exotic ingredients grown in the restaurant’s on-site culinary garden.
Girolomo was sous chef for Santa Rosa’s Mayacamas Golf Club and, prior to that, as junior sous chef of FARM at The Carneros Inn.
Brosnihan spent the last nine years working at Jordan Winery. The restaurant is located on the Vintners Inn estate at 4330 Barnes Rd in Santa Rosa.
Katie Kolsrud has affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage as a sales associate in its Sebastopol office. In her new position, Kolsrud will specialize in residential sales in Sonoma County, the company stated.
Prior to affiliating with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Kolsrud worked at Keller Williams. Her previous job responsibilities included hospitality. Kolsrud completed an intensive training program through Kaplan which emphasized the principles and techniques of real estate.
