Petaluma’s Calix appoints interim CFO

Calix, Inc. (NYSE:CALX) of Petaluma has announced appointment of Cory J. Sindelar as Interim CFO following the previously announced departure of the company’s former CFO.

Sindelar brings extensive financial executive experience with technology companies, most recently as CFO at Violin Memory, Inc., and earlier as CFO of Kilopass Technology and Ikanos Communications, the company stated. Sindelar also previously served as vice president, corporate controller, and principal accounting officer at Legato Systems until its acquisition by EMC, following which he continued in various senior financial positions with EMC.

He steps into the position following the March departure of William Atkins, executive vice president and CFO. At the time, the company stated Atkins left to pursue another opportunity in the industry.

“Cory brings valuable prior experience as a public company chief financial officer to lead our finance organization as we continue our search for a permanent CFO, ” Carl Russo, Calix president and CEO, stated in the announcement.

Calix focuses on cloud products for network data analytics and subscriber experience assurance.
