The North Coast wine industry has suffered as a result of the wildfires that have erupted across the region. Here is a list of known properties that have been affected:
Paradise Ridge Winery, Santa Rosa: All of its buildings were destroyed, but vineyards are intact.
Gundlach Bundschu Winery, Sonoma: Blocks of vineyards were torched.
Signorello Estate Winery along the Silverado Trail in Napa: Buildings gutted.
The Napa Valley Vintners said that five member wineries “suffered total or very significant losses due to the fire.” Another 11 members reported damage to their wineries, outbuildings, or vineyards. The trade group did not release the names of those wineries.
In addition, the Atlas Peak American Viticultural Area had “extensive damage” to its vineyards, according to Cal Fire.
Frey Vineyards, Redwood Valley: Its production facility was destroyed. Other wineries in Redwood Valley were also affected.
