HEALDSBURG — In an era of slow growth and continuing high unemployment, Healdsburg has become the latest city to begin exploring ways to increase jobs, stimulate commercial occupancy and grow its tax base by utilizing the strength of its existing technology hub to attract and retain firms and support a business incubator.

SAN RAFAEL – Two business incubator programs are now working to foster entrepreneurial companies in San Rafael, after “Renaissance Marin,” a project of San Francisco-based Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center, opened its doors to clients.

NAPA COUNTY — Efforts to establish an incubator for startups that produce high-tech, high-paying jobs in Napa County have taken a financial step forward, with a combined $25,000 contribution from the county and city of Napa pushing the project closer to reaching an early funding threshold of $38,000.

NAPA COUNTY – Efforts to create a first-ever business incubator in Napa County could take another step forward in the coming weeks as project members seek additional startup funding from the county Board of Supervisors and the Napa City Council.

PETALUMA — Creators of artisan food products who are challenged to find a place to take their businesses to a new level may be able to find such help in a food manufacturing incubator being considered in southern Sonoma County.

HEALDSBURG – The Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce launched a virtual business incubator program called the Entrepreneurial Pathways Program to support the creation of jobs in the area. It will serve start-up and second-state entrepreneurial companies through mentoring, coaching, technical advising, education, financial planning and introductions to potential investors, partners, customers and service providers.
