Luther Burbank Savings donates two-acre parcel for homeless housing
November 21st, 2011SANTA ROSA — Luther Burbank Savings, in collaboration with the Sonoma County Task Force for the Homelessness, has donated a house and two-acre parcel at 2621 Guerneville Road to Community Housing Sonoma County, which will use the property to develop affordable housing for the homeless.

Sonoma Mountain Village, labor, environmental coaliton reach agreement on development
October 15th, 2009ROHNERT PARK — The developer of Sonoma Mountain Village and a coalition of labor, housing and environmental groups have reached an agreement to cooperate on labor standards, housing, regional impact of development and green building standards for the innovative project on the 200-acre former Agilent Technologies site.
In the works for more than two years, the “Community Benefits Agreement” is the first of its kind between a developer and the Accountable Development Coalition.

Groups seeking to buy foreclosed homes; may be mental health beds
